The version of Xournal packaged has an interaction with other current versions that causes the wrong part of the screen to be drawn to. The cursor is in exactly the correct place, but the ink appears vertically displaced. Renders package unusable except for top of first page for me and many others I guess. This is a known bug in the upstream tracker (17655786) which is fixed in new version upstream.
