Package: postgresql-server-dev-8.2 Version: 8.2.5-3~bpo40+1 Severity: wishlist
Yes - I know I'm running a back-port, and perhaps this bug belongs against some "common" package. I was just wondering if it would be possible to make the postinstall script which modifies the /etc/postgres/FOO/postgresql.conf, also affect the output of `pg_config' when the development packages are installed. That way, when building from source, programs which use this method of configuring will get the right default and not have to be configured any other way. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16.x Locale: LANG=en_NZ.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_NZ.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages postgresql-server-dev-8.2 depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-8 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libpq-dev 8.2.5-3~bpo40+1 header files for libpq5 (PostgreSQ postgresql-server-dev-8.2 recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
