I've put some preliminary packages at http://debs.michaelbiebl.de/network-manager/ They are not quite ready for release yet. I have to revise the copyright file, backport the dispatch_more_events patch and write a proper changelog. Still they are already usable, so you can test them if you want. Please keep in mind, that the openvpn/vpnc plugins currently in unstable, are not compatible with this version. So if you require them, I wouldn't recommend to upgrade to this NM version. If you find some time to test them, please let me know if they work for you or if you encountered issues.
