Yes. I have been using googleearth-package for some time now.

I do not have any old release available, do you know where I can find
one?
Google hasn't helped me at all.

Yes, version is 2.2

I have tried with older dpkg releases (namely 1.14.7 and 1.14.5) but no
more success.
