Package: netbase, hotplug
Version: 4.21
Severity: normal

Hello

When configuring my eth1 interface in /etc/network/interfaces I noticed
that it was not brought up at the next reboot as /etc/init.d/networking
is run directly before /etc/init.d/hotplug.

Given that it's no longer state of the art to insert cryptic module names
into /etc/modules I would suggest to move one of them to a slightly different
runlevel.

In my runlevel.conf they were at
        40 - S /etc/init.d/networking
        40 - S /etc/init.d/hotplug
        41 - S /etc/init.d/hotplug-net

bye,

-christian-
