I had a look at the deb packages on a debian mirror, and it seem that
the i386 package is OK but the amd64 package is not:

  % for f in ~ftp/debian/pool/main/s/sysvinit/initscripts_*41*.deb; do echo $f;
dpkg-deb -c $f  |grep bootclean; done

/skolelinux/administrator/ftparchive/debian/pool/main/s/sysvinit/initscripts_2.86.ds1-41_amd64.deb
  -rw-r--r-- root/root      5089 2007-12-25 02:31 ./lib/init/bootclean
  -rwxr-xr-x root/root       613 2007-12-25 02:31
./etc/init.d/mountnfs-bootclean.sh
  -rwxr-xr-x root/root       615 2007-12-25 02:31
./etc/init.d/mountall-bootclean.sh

/skolelinux/administrator/ftparchive/debian/pool/main/s/sysvinit/initscripts_2.86.ds1-41_i386.deb
  -rwxr-xr-x root/root      5089 2007-11-18 14:12 ./lib/init/bootclean
  -rwxr-xr-x root/root       613 2007-11-18 14:05
./etc/init.d/mountnfs-bootclean.sh
  -rwxr-xr-x root/root       615 2007-11-18 14:05
./etc/init.d/mountall-bootclean.sh
  %

Something is wrong with the build rules, I guess. Not quite found the error
yet.

Happy hacking,
