Hi Erich, I have tried to reproduce the problem you described but was unable to.
1- I took a large MP3, ran mp3val on it and wrote down the number of frames. 2- Then I split it up using -t 10.0 and got a few files on which I ran mp3val again. 3- Adding the number of frames for each file done in step 2, I got the same number as in step 1. Can you detail how you got different numbers in your tests? (I did these tests on the mp3splt 2.1c-1 package which I just built and uploaded to unstable) Thanks!
