Package: linux-image-2.6.24-rc5-xen-686 Version: 2.6.24~rc5-1~experimental.1~snapshot.9974 Severity: normal
The 2.6.24 builds targeted for experimental seem to be missing the various paravirt guest options. I believe this is because 2.6.24 adds CONFIG_PARAVIRT_GUEST which enables all the others. I noticed this in the -xen images but it seems to apply to LGUEST etc in the regular image as well. I think you will also need CONFIG_LGUEST_GUEST=y to get a similar config to the 2.6.23 packages. Have you guys given any thought to enabling Xen guest support in the regular packages and doing away with the separate Xen packages? Since you already have CONFIG_PARAVIRT enable the additional overhead for Xen enabling should be pretty negligible if you make CONFIG_XEN_{BLK,NET}DEV_FRONTEND modular at the same time..
