Package: devscripts
Version: 2.8.14
Severity: normal

When debdiff'ing two equally named native source packages, debdiff
refuses to operate, stating:

| Warning: no diffs and same tarball (choose-mirror_1.07.tar.gz),
| not attempting to diff

and giving an exit code of zero. If it doesn't support this operation,
it should be non-zero IMHO, but best would be to just diff ahead.
Debdiffing same-version has a big use in checking for inadvertant
changes between local interations of packaging fixes, remaking the
source package provided by a sponsoree, etc.
