Accidently closed the bug report with my last email.
But then again, I think hal's behaviour in this case is correct so
closing the bug report was ok after all.
The package shouldn't just silently install leaving you with a
non-functioning hal installation.
That the installation aborted gave you a clear hint that something with
your system was not in order (borked system dbus) and allowed you to fix
it. Much better than hal silently upgrading without notice.
