Hi Jose,
There was nothing wrong with xscreensaver, please close this bug.
I've traced my problem to this: kernel was compiled with gcc-4.1
while the nvidia module was compiled with gcc-4.2.
I've recompiled the nvidia module with the same compiler and
everything is fine now.
