package: gnome-keyboard-applet version: 2.18.0 I am using Debian lenny/sid with kernel 2.6.21-2-686 with libc6 2.7-4.
After adding the Keyboard Indicator applet on the Gnome Panel, when I do a right click on the "USA" and then click on "Keyboard Preferences" on the pop up menu to add more keyboard layouts, I dont get the window from where we can add additional layouts. when I click the "Keyboard Preferences" nothing happens. I get the window to change/add new layouts by going to : Gnome Control Center >> Hardware >> Keyboard.
