Especially the "Fix syslog log options regex again" fix from 0.96 seems to be important, because the new default "pid,nofatal" is seen as invalid in 0.94. The "nofatal" option is essential to not make e.g. postgrey crash, if syslog is temporarily not available (https://launchpad.net/bugs/69895). -- http://daniel.hahler.de/
