I have tried it on my Fedora 8 system and not been able to reproduce it. Having 
said
that I am using ClamAV 0.92 rather than 0.91.2, so perhaps it is fixed in that 
release.
I believe a binary package is being prepared now for Debian on that 
distribution,
so try it again when it's released.

One question, which hardware platform are you using? I have a number of Debian 
Linux
systems here, including x86/mips/sparc/arm.
