On startup (tested with the audacious projectm plugin), ProjectM shows
only a white rectangle and no visuals. Switching from full-screen to
windowed mode starts the visuals, but leaves the display set to an odd
resolution. This problem has been discussed on the ProjectM forum in
this thread:

http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=1854414&forum_id=358774

I have made a patch which applies the fix proposed in the forum thread
and verified that it works on my system using an ATI Radeon video card.
