Package: scons
Version: 0.97-1ubuntu1
Severity: normal

the scons snapshots in debian testing and unstable don't track dependencies
correctly
for my programs. the scons release 0.97 (available from ubuntu) works fine for
me ...

afair, the scons devs don't recommend packaging checkpoint releases ... i would
somehow
have a better feeling, if debian wouldn't do so, but provide the latest release
instead
of a development version ...

best, tim
