Not sure I have understood well the commands to give. I have no "telepathy-salut" executable on my system. However, running empathy after the various debug options gives this output: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ empathy ** (empathy:29893): DEBUG: mission_control_get_presence_actual: MC not running. ** (empathy:29893): DEBUG: mission_control_get_presence_message_actual: MC not running. ** (empathy:29893): DEBUG: mission_control_get_online_connections: MC not running. ** (empathy:29893): DEBUG: mission_control_get_connection_status: MC not running. ** (empathy:29893): DEBUG: mission_control_get_connection_status: MC not running. telepathy-mission-control is obviously installed, even though not running.
