Ever since etch was upgraded to linux-image-2.6.18-5, my system has been unable to boot. It kernel panics on boot, but not during the mount of the root file system. I'm unable to work out what exactly in the boot process is the problem, and because i'm unable to capture the output of the panic, it's infeasible to type it all in here.
