Can you quickly confirm that you are using 5.6.47-1 and that gtrace exists
in this version and it's not from some other legacy version. It could
possibly be different arch issue - I'm using an amd64 system.

(FWIW I really hate the "rename pl binary" hack - upstream provided a
variable in the Makefile to change the "pl" binary name, I'm not sure why the
previous maintainers didn't use it. It's also caused #312523 and possibly
others.)
