Another piece of information: The error occurs if one tries to search using the menu entry custumer search. But there is a second way to init a search. For example, one can generate a "business customer report", and click on the button "options". A window pops up where options can be set. And there is also a field where a customer can be selected by pressing a button. The interesting thing is that if this button is clicked in a quick way, the error occurs, the search window pops up shortly, but disappears immediatly. But if the button is clicked, holded, and released only after a short time, the search dialog is persistent, it works.
