Hi Johannes, I'd be more than happy to package the pre8 version. Unfortunately there are several issues: - Dependent packages like networkmanager and knetworkmanager don't work with the new version. It broke abi and compilation fails because api is obviously changed too. - There are some oddities, like netlink/netlink.h including linux/ip_mp_alg.h. On my machine, this header file is not installed. It looks like libnl has a private copy of this file, but as it get's not installed on "make install" compilation fails because of that, too.
