I hadn't realised of the problem as my amd64 was having it all the time as
it is my develpment machine and runs unstable since I installed it not too
long ago. What I did after testing the soft on a machine running testing was
to downgrade all xserver-xorg* packages to testing and then swfdec worked
ok. Upgrading them again showed the problem as expected.

So, the machine runs current unstable and downgrading the packages named
xserver-xorg to testing solves the issue (same X config is used on both
setups).

I can and I'll do, but as I told on the bugreport I have tested with a
Nvidia card using the nv driver and the problem was also shown there, so I
don't expect this new version of the ati driver to solve anything.

I'll report on this test as soon as I can do the upgrade and test it.

Regards...
