either download dlocate 0.94 from sid (AFAIK, now that the new locate + findutils are in lenny, it has no dependancies which aren't in lenny) or wait for it to migrate to lenny....shouldn't be long. if you want to install it yourself from sid, here's the dependancies that need to be satisfied: Depends: dctrl-tools | grep-dctrl (>= 0.11), dpkg (>= 1.8.0), locate | findutils (<< 4.2.31-2), perl i've got no dlocate updates ready to go right now(*), but when i do i'll make sure i hold off on any uploads until after 0.94 gets into lenny. according to http://packages.qa.debian.org/d/dlocate.html , there's only two more days to wait. that'll definitely happen before i have anything ready to upload. (*) currently working on: 1. adding duplicate '--' options to dlocate and printing a warning message when the old, deprecated, '-' options are used and 2. a speedup for the fix to bug #447140 'dlocate -l prints header even if no result' but i probably wont get around to finishing either of them until the weekend. i'm still getting everything back to normal after the great hard disk crash (2 disks out of a raid-5 array) of last week. craig -- craig sanders <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> BOFH excuse #6: global warming -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
