Package: libpfm3-3.2 Version: 3.2.070507-1 Usertags: ftbfs-gcc-4.3 Your package fails to build with GCC 4.3. Version 4.3 has not been released yet but I'm building with a snapshot in order to find errors and give people an advance warning.
You can reproduce this problem with gcc-snapshot from unstable. Note that Red Hat, Novell and Ubuntu have done some work getting packages to build with GCC 4.3 so there might be patches floating around somewhere. I suggest you talk to your upstream. > Automatic build of libpfm3-3.2_3.2.070507-1 on em64t by sbuild/amd64 0.53 ... > gcc -O2 -g -Wall -Werror -I/build/tbm/libpfm3-3.2-3.2.070507/lib/../include > -D_REENTRANT -DCONFIG_PFMLIB_AMD64 -DCONFIG_PFMLIB_CORE > -DCONFIG_PFMLIB_GEN_IA32 -DCONFIG_PFMLIB_PENTIUM4 -I. -c pfmlib_pentium4.c > cc1: warnings being treated as errors > pfmlib_pentium4.c: In function 'pentium4_dispatch_events': > pfmlib_pentium4.c:368: error: array subscript is above array bounds > pfmlib_pentium4.c:370: error: array subscript is above array bounds > make[2]: *** [pfmlib_pentium4.o] Error 1 > make[2]: Leaving directory `/build/tbm/libpfm3-3.2-3.2.070507/lib' > make[1]: *** [all] Error 2 -- Martin Michlmayr http://www.cyrius.com/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
