Is there any chance that you can try reproducing that on unstable or, even better, with the version of samba in experimental ? That would make a very interesting and complete report to make upstream if you could. Thanks anyway for the very detailed report. I don't know if any of the team members will have time to go through it but, at first glance, it deserves to be reported upstream.
