Package: gxine Version: 0.5.11-4 Severity: normal Hi,
I'm running under e17. I have mpd and gmpc which work fine. I have gxine which works too. All sound applications normally use alsa (no esd daemon). I can play music through gmpc or with gxine. I can read video with gxine too. But When I play a video with gxine, then I close the window without push the stop button, mpd crashes. Then when I launch other gxine applications, these don't appear but I can see them with a 'ps -ae'. When I kill mpd, the xine application "popup" under X. When I do all the same thing, but I close the video under gxine and before I push the stop button, I don't have any problem...Is there a possibility that a xine process blocks the alsa access or something like that ?
