Hi,
as a test mail I used the "bug1610074.txt" file attached to the SF.net item that also provide the patch. I tried it with spamassassin, which call razor.

I remember that when I tried it with 2.82 (if I recall well) the message was flagged by razor, unless that patch was applied. Later, when I upgraded to 2.83 (or 2.84?) I noticed that despite the patch was not applied in newer version (but could be that the code was modified in another way, however that was not showed in the changelog), razor won't flag that empty message. I remember I also retried 2.82 and no more flagged that test mail. What I thought at the time was that the hash of the empty attachment was removed from the on-line db, thus making the patch useless.

Now I don't know if it should be merged or not. Maybe it should be merged so empty attachments won't be flagged if that hash reappears in the on-line db, and it should also avoid a network query. Best would be to ask to razor developer.

Fabio
