Hello, While checking the list generated by lintian about the build-depends-on-build-essential error[1] I've noticed starttls is listed. Quoting the same page: "You depends on the build-essential package, which is only a meta-package depending on build tools that have to be installed in all build environments. Refer to 7.6 for details." You should fix this on your next upload.
