Package: ipw3945
Severity: wishlist

As specified in the following bug that I opened in Intel's project site:

http://bughost.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1531

The ipw3945 driver is deprecated, as it does not support multiqueue hardware,
which causes kernel to hang when any of the send or receive queue is full.

To save time to Debian users, I would suggest to remove ipw3945 package from
distro and start using iwlwifi, which is the new Intel's platform for wifi
cards.

Regards,
Ivan Zaera
