Fabian, Thanks for your report. As you maybe aware we have a large amount of fixes to get hplip into a stable state before I would be happy for release with Debian. The consistency of version numbers whilst a presentation issue, doesn't detract from the functionality so will be looked at, but with a low priority. Mark
