Hi,
libpt-1.10.0/etch (1.10.2-2) shipped /usr/lib/libpt.so.1.10 which is
now being shipped in libpt-dev/sid. I think it would be wise to add at
least a Replace in libpt-dev for libpt-1.10.0.
I tried an upgrade, and this conflict is probably not easily triggered
because of misc libsasl2 deps which make e.g. aptitude try to remove
libpt-1.10.0, however I was easily able to trigger the issue by
reinstalling libpt-0.10.0 after an upgrade:
Selecting previously deselected package libpt-1.10.0.
Unpacking libpt-1.10.0 (from .../libpt-1.10.0_1.10.2-2_amd64.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/libpt-1.10.0_1.10.2-2_amd64.deb
(--unpack):
trying to overwrite `/usr/lib/libpt.so.1.10', which is also in package
libpt-dev

Please add a Replaces libpt-1.10.0 (<< correct version) to libpt-dev
for upgrades; I'm pretty sure it's possible to trigger this in some
partial upgrades.
