Before compiling, 

 apt-get  install libreadline-dev

should be launched.

configure script might check for such a component.

else the following error mitght occur:

wrudf-cdr.o ide-pc.o  ../libudffs/.libs/libudffs.a -lreadline -lncurses
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lreadline
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [wrudf] Erreur 1
