The reporter was originally saying that there are three files missing from the Debian package, these are: /jde-2.3.5.1/java/bsh-commands/bsh/commands/beanInfoMarker.bsh /jde-2.3.5.1/java/bsh-commands/bsh/commands/exploreClass.bsh /jde-2.3.5.1/java/bsh-commands/bsh/commands/whichClass.bsh To be clear, the problem is not that JDE cannot find BSH - hence setting bsh-jar will not fix this problem. Rather, the files above are not included in the deb when they should be. These files provide extension commands for BSH that is used by JDEE commands such as jde-browse-class-at-point, just must be included in the package. /Mike -- ✌ Michael Gratton.
