As the last operation in the strace is the following :
open("/var/lib/defoma/fontconfig.d/D/DejaVu-Sans.ttf",
O_RDONLY|O_LARGEFILE) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
--- SIGSEGV (Segmentation fault) @ 0 (0) ---
I created the related symbolic link :
sudo ln -s /usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-dejavu/DejaVuSans.ttf
/var/lib/defoma/fontconfig.d/D/DejaVu-Sans.ttf
That's just a workaround .. but wormux works fine.
