Package: qa.debian.org
Severity: normal

This bug is similar, (perhaps it's the same), to this:

qa.debian.org: "Debian Developer's Packages Overview" includes bug
reporters.
        http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=441283

Namely, that BTS pages for bogus names can be accessed:

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?pkg=Microsoft%20Windows%20Vista;dist=unstable

...complete with suggestive text:

You might like to refer to the Microsoft Windows Vista package page, to
the Package Tracking System, or to the source package Microsoft Windows
        Vista's bug page.

If one clicks the link to:

        http://packages.debian.org/Microsoft%20Windows%20Vista

...the result is better:

You have searched for packages that names contain microsoft windows
vista in all suites, all sections, and all architectures.

Sorry, your search gave no results

Note: in the BTS thread for bug #441283, C. Berg says that one goal is
to preserve any useful info, (presumably for packages that formerly
exist); possible fix:

Make a big list of every Debian package that ever existed.

Automate this lists maintenance; append only, apart from
        (optional) sorting.

If a queried name is not on the list, (e.g. "Microsoft Windows Vista"),
display a page that unambiguously says so.

Hope this helps...
