I just uploaded hal 0.5.10-3 which contains various crash fixes from upstream
GIT. I'm not sure if it fixes the issues you guys are seeing though, it
might. So please give it a try and report back.
If the bugs still occur. New log files, strace -f logs and/or backtrace are
very much appreciated as some symptoms might have changed.
