Additional info to the previous message in the BTS. At every attempt to browse the smb share, I received an e-mail message similar to this:
########## The Samba 'panic action' script, /usr/share/samba/panic-action, was called for PID 13622 (). This means there was a problem with the program, such as a segfault. However, the executable could not be found for process 13622. It may have died unexpectedly, or you may not have permission to debug the process. ########## Obviously, I've downgraded to the previous security release and all is good again.
