Package: dpkg-dev
Version: 1.14.7
Severity: minor
File: /usr/bin/dpkg-scanpackages

The man page says that the override file in invocation of
dpkg-scanpackages is optional. However, dpkg-scanpackages fails if the
file is not specified.

workaround: specify /dev/null as the override file
