Package: gnucash Version: 2.2.1-1 I don't know how this happened, but gnucash has forgotten that one of my accounts exists. I want to be clear that it hasn't lost the data from the account. Indeed, I can pull the account's ledger window up, browse it, and even edit its transactions. I can enter transactions in other accounts and I can enter transactions in that account too.
There's one thing that I can't do, though. I can't enter that account into the "Account" field of any transaction. If I do, GNUCash tells me that the account doesn't exist and would I like to create it? This despite the fact that the account appears in the drop-down list in the "Accounts" field. The problem persists across saves and restarts of the program. I took a look at the XML and it looks fine to me, but I may not know what to look for.
