Package: bash Version: 3.1dfsg-8 Severity: normal People often run multiple shells in parallel, particularly in a graphical environment. Bash does not handle persistent history properly in this case, because each shell will overwrite the history file with only the commands it originally read and the commands executed in that shell, overwriting any commands from other parallel shells. Bash has an option "histappend" to avoid this behavior. Please consider enabling it by default in /etc/skel/.bashrc .
