That does not make much sense, IMHO:

- The rt61 and rt73 chips need non-free firmware that is not included on
  the Debian disks.  So you lose anyway, if you have such a device.  The
  older 2400/2500/2570 chipsets don't have that problem, but they are
  not produced any more. :-(

- More important (and better news) is that the rt2x00 drivers are
  included in Linux 2.6.24, so Lenny will probably ship binary modules
  for ralink chips (and the rt2x00-source package can be removed). :-)
