I'm encounting this problem as well. Following a howto[0] on securing dynamic updates I've tried using: dnssec-keygen -a RSASHA1 -b 1024 -n HOST cerberus.etc.gen.nz And get told: dnssec-keygen: invalid DNSKEY nametype HOST I've tried using all the different algorithms, none of them work, and I've tried using -k, that doesn't help either.
