"Unsurprisingly, the JoCaml solution is much faster than those written in interpreted (or even JIT-compiled, as Erlang) languages. As I write this, the last JoCaml implementation Tim Bray tested is two times faster than the second entry, a 345-line, multi-process (not multi-thread) Erlang program with a specialized pattern matcher.
