Package: e2fsprogs Version: 1.39+1.40-WIP-2006.11.14+dfsg-2 Severity: normal
First, I did this (from 100G): # sudo lvresize --size 150G /dev/VG2/images Password: Extending logical volume images to 150.00 GB Logical volume images successfully resized Then this: # sudo resize2fs /dev/VG2/images resize2fs 1.40-WIP (14-Nov-2006) Filesystem at /dev/VG2/images is mounted on /usr/local/home/mds/images; on-line resizing required old desc_blocks = 400, new_desc_blocks = 600 Performing an on-line resize of /dev/VG2/images to 157286400 (1k) blocks. resize2fs: Invalid argument While trying to add group #15625 Repeated calls to resize2fs duplicate error condition. What will happen when I reboot? Will I lose data? Is this volume corrupted? What can be done to fix this? -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (990, 'stable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-5-amd64 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages e2fsprogs depends on: ii e2fslibs 1.39+1.40-WIP-2006.11.14+dfsg-2 ext2 filesystem libraries ii libblkid 1.39+1.40-WIP-2006.11.14+dfsg-2 block device id library ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13etch2 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcomer 1.39+1.40-WIP-2006.11.14+dfsg-2 common error description library ii libss2 1.39+1.40-WIP-2006.11.14+dfsg-2 command-line interface parsing lib ii libuuid1 1.39+1.40-WIP-2006.11.14+dfsg-2 universally unique id library e2fsprogs recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
