Since the bug appears when you install libwxgtk2.4-python, it seems it
is a problem with the wx2.4 package. The solution is to Conflict
against wxpython2.5.3. 

I'm not sure what critical bug you are going to forward (this bug was
marked important), so I don't really know to what you are referring
to. Perhaps the reason "nobody cares to read it before reporting the
same issue repeatedly to the wrong place" is maybe because you closed
this bug right away, but it has not been resolved. If you close it
before the bug is resolved, then it will go away and nobody can read
it and you will wonder why the next person comes along and reports it.

It sounds from what you are saying that wx2.5 shouldn't be in the
archive at all, and you will file a bug to have it removed. Thats
great, however, until then it makes sense to Conflict against that
package until that does happen.
