This is the default value. I'm sorry: *my* 05TeXMF.cnf has been
modified and I did check your md5sum against my one instead of the
orginal
One thing to notice:
TEXMF =
{$TEXMFCONFIG,$TEXMFVAR,$TEXMFHOME,$TEXMFSYSCONFIG,!!$TEXMFSYSVAR,!!$TEXMFLOCAL,!!$TEXMFMAIN,!!$TEXMFDIST}
$TEXMFSYSVAR comes before TEXMFDIST, so even if there are two files
fmtutil.cnf the correct one should have been used.
