Package: lua5.1
Version: 5.1.2-4
Followup-For: Bug #394527

My patch was accepted upstream in shared-mime-info and is now in
Debian. The Python entry seems to have a similar fragility, although
it is more comprehensive than the Lua version, so could be extended.
You might want to look at this.

The file magic entries needn't suffer from a similar problem as the
spaces there can stand for one or more, or zero or more, spaces. At
the moment, though, they're still a bit haphazard. Still, this problem
is fixable, so it's worth pursuing.
