After 2007-11-03, I can no longer expand my old 7zip archives.

It leaves a partial file from the 'attempted' expansion:

Very afraid, I removed the new package:

# dpkg -r p7zip-full
(Reading database ... 28708 files and directories currently installed.)
Removing p7zip-full ...

Installed the old one:

# dpkg -i p7zip_4.43~dfsg.1-2_amd64.deb
Selecting previously deselected package p7zip.
(Reading database ... 28646 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking p7zip (from p7zip_4.43~dfsg.1-2_amd64.deb) ...
Setting up p7zip (4.43~dfsg.1-2) ...

Same problem as above.

Any idea what bug I am hitting?

No bad memory or disks here, all is well, other formats (bzip2 have no issues)?
