Package: aptitude
Version: 0.4.7-1
Severity: normal

  Hi,

I saw several segfault from aptitude for a few days (I do not know
exactly when it began).
Today, I upgrade my sid system :
"sudo aptitude" in a terminal, 'u', 'U', 'g', 'g', ENTER several times
=> upgrade of gdm, xine-ui and mutt
Then, I hit 'f' in aptitude and I got a segfault.

I restarted aptitude with 'ulimit -c unlimited'. I choose a old local
package to purge, type 'g' and ENTER several times. The package is
purged, I come back to the menu. I hit 'f' and again a segfault. But
with a core this time.

Note: if I type 'f' just after starting aptitude, I've no problem (no
segfault and 'new packages' are marked 'not new')

The core does not show me lots of interesting things. Here are some
info. I will keep the core file a few days if you are interested

  Best regards,
    Vincent
