Package: denyhosts
Version: 2.6-1
Severity: normal

Hi,
i have a system which is log destination for ~400 machines. Sometimes
people from this host trys to log in into one of those machines
and fails. Denyhosts than add that specific machine to the local
host.deny every minute until stopped.

        # DenyHosts: Mon Nov 5 11:43:25 2007 | sshd: solr-371.domain
        sshd: solr-371.domain
        # DenyHosts: Mon Nov 5 11:43:56 2007 | sshd: solr-371.domain
        sshd: solr-371.domain
        # DenyHosts: Mon Nov 5 11:44:28 2007 | sshd: solr-371.domain
        sshd: solr-371.domain
        # DenyHosts: Mon Nov 5 11:44:59 2007 | sshd: solr-371.domain
        sshd: solr-371.domain
        # DenyHosts: Mon Nov 5 11:45:32 2007 | sshd: solr-371.domain
        sshd: solr-371.domain

        grep solr-371 /var/log/auth.log | wc -l
        0

I never want this host to be blacklisted and even if so i guess adding
it every minute although there are no failed login attempts is wrong.
